Water rescue exams will be organized on the 11th and 12th July according to the
IRO RH W Rules (for all levels). The exams will be judged by IRO judge Pavel
Šabacky and have been approved as qualification trials for the IRO World
Championship (IRO WCh), which will be this year in Italy. The water rescue of the
championship will be held in Bergamo, and lead by Nicola Carrara.

LKDVPP, REPS Maribor, and MCP established a joint Competence Center for
Water Rescue with Dogs in autumn 2025, the first of its kind in Slovenia.
From 04–06.07.2026, we are organizing the first national training week for water
rescue with dogs and water work for portuguese water dogs.
From 07–10.07.2026 will be international training, with the instructor Nicola Carrara,
a member of REPS Maribor and founder of the ZERO Impact association from
Bergamo, Italy, and a former world champion in water rescue with dogs. The trainings
will be at Lake Babinci near Ljutomer.
Registrations for the international training week and for the exams will be open till 31.05, for national traing till 15.6.2026 on the websites of the clubs LKDVPP, REPS Maribor and MCP (www.lkdp.si).

of Prlekija in Spodnji Kamenščak 23 near Ljutomer

20€ per person per day + 10€ per dog per day (or without extra costs if the dogs
sleep in their own boxes inside the MCP headquarters
